Day Moisturiser with SPF

Recently I have been trying to really take care of my skin, so I wanted to find a day moisturiser which had an SPF in. Even though the sun doesn’t make much of an appearance these days, we do occasionally get the sun the odd day in the UK, so I suppose it’s good to be prepared (UV rays can also penetrate through clouds, so be careful on cloudy days too).

Here was my problem though; I have very oily skin and wanted a moisturiser that suited my skin type, wouldn’t leave me shiny through the day and had a good SPF in. I found finding my perfect moisturiser a nightmare! I searched blogs, online shops, the lot. I could either find moisturisers for oily skin or moisturisers with SPF, not both together. So frustrating.

However, I did find one by the Boots No7 brand, I found they had a range of moisturisers for different skin types and the day ones contained SPF, happy days! I went straight out and bought one.

I like this moisturiser, I find it doesn’t leave me any oilier than not using one. It doesn’t mattify my face, but that’s something I can live with if I know my skin is protected from harmful rays. It has a really nice scent, it’s light and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and it sinks in quickly (good for those ‘in a rush’ days).

This is a really good moisturiser to try if you are in the same predicament as I was in or you have oily skin and just want to try a new moisturiser. The No7 brand have a whole host of products to match different skin types too, so definitely check them out.

Steam Cream Review

Today I'm going to do a product review on the Steam Cream moisturiser. If you haven't heard of this before you can type it into Google and a whole host of information will pop up, but basically it is a cream that is fused together with steam to give extra hydration. It's also a multi-purpose cream that you can use on the face, hands and body.
The other good thing about it is you can choose from a range of different designed tins, I love anything like this. I've had a few different patterned tins and then I keep them for ear rings afterward.

But on to the product inside; the cream itself contains essential oils and lovely yummy scents *I'll put the ingredients at the bottom*, these make the cream smell so so nice. There's certain products I buy for the scents (ahem Lush's American Cream conditioner) and this one of them. I do like the actual product too, it's very moisturising and hydrates my skin. Even though I have oily skin I don't find this causes any problems, I use it of a night just in case and NOT in the morning before I apply makeup.

You can buy this from a few retail stores like John Lewis, but I got mine off Amazon.

What's your favourite night time moisturiser?
